Impromptu Afternoon with Charity & Pam

Writer's picture: FemiFemi

Last minute lifestyle type shoot in Victoria. We really only took an afternoon to put all this together and the styling for 3-4 outfits each took maybe an hour and a half between myself and Nehemiah to put together.

I didn't plan on doing a shoot when I packed to leave to Victoria so I only had my Nikon F2 with an unfinished roll of Portra 160 on the day. I only brought the 35mm lens attached to the camera but luckily I borrowed a 100-200mm f4.5 lens from a friend. I'm very grateful because all my favorite shots from that day came on the zoom. I think I metered for a slight overexposure and I'm happy with the colours and just the total lack of grain.

Someone help me for real though. I cannot take landscape compositions for the life of me.

But at the same time, why would I when these look so, so much better?
